In operation since 2020, the Dune-du-Nord wind farm comprises two wind turbines with a total capacity of eight megawatts (MW). The energy produced is supplied to Hydro-Québec to power the residents, businesses, and enterprises of the Magdalen Islands, thereby helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its thermal power plant.
